Open Gym during all Wednesday classes. For the next two weeks we will be offering a peaking cycle to prime you for testing out the 3 main lifts we have been doing with the Juggernaut strength cycle. Use this opportunity to test out one or two of the lifts that we will be testing at Festivus.
Use the following build up to test a 3×1 @ 92.5% of your 1RM
55%x5, 65%x3, 70%x2, 75%x1, 80%X1, 85%x1, 90%x1, 3×1@ 92.5% of your TRM
Remember the purpose of a peaking cycle is to prime yourself both physically and mentally to test your true 1 rep max at Festivus. It is important to not overshoot during this phase. Use this opportunity to build confidence, and accustom your body to moving maximal loads. use the percentages above and don’t be greedy!
